If you use Chrome as the web browser on your computer we have a Chrome Extension that adds a button to your toolbar to save routes directly from all the route websites that we support. It's now incredibly easy to leverage the wealth of awesome routes on those sites, then send them to your Garmin watch or Edge with just a click of our button!

When you see a route on Strava, MapMyRun or one of the supported websites that you'd like to save, click on the dynamicWatch toolbar button. This will add it to your routes in our system. You can also set it as your current active route in the popup that is shown.

Then just start dwMap on your Garmin watch or routeCourse on your Garmin Edge, Oregon or Rino 700-series GPS and the route will be immediately downloaded to the device.

With the dynamicWatch Chrome Extension you don't even need to visit our website to send exciting new routes to your Garmin device. It's that simple!

The dynamicWatch Import Page and Chrome Extension Button can save routes/courses and activities/trips from the following websites:

  • Garmin Connect: courses (must be set to public even if you have linked your Garmin account) and activities
  • MapMyRun/MapMyRide (Under Armour): routes and workouts. Your bookmarked routes are automatically imported.
  • Ride with GPS: routes and trips. Your pinned routes are automatically imported. routeCourse Premium downloads include cue sheets.
  • Strava: routes, segments and activities. You can import any segment or public route by its URL. You can import your own activity directly by its URL. For other rider's public activities, use the Actions - Create Route option at Strava, then use the resulting route URL. Your starred routes are automatically imported.
  • Google Maps: routes from directions by URL
  • Gpsies: tracks
  • OutdoorActive: tours
  • Bikemap.net: routes
  • MTB Project, Hiking Project, Trailrun Project: routes
  • Trailforks: routes and trails
  • GPStracks.nl: routes
  • Openrunner: routes. Make sure you are actually viewing the route you want to import, as Openrunner does not change the URL as you browse between routes. Click on the Route ID in Description - General Information at the bottom of the route page and use the URL shown there.

Link your Garmin Connect, Strava, Under Armour, Ride with GPS and MTB/Hiking/Trailrun Project accounts on your Linked Accounts settings page to make the most of the button with those sites.
